I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Accountancy at Singapore Management University.
My research investigates the real effects of financial reporting and disclosure on the product and capital markets. I am interested in how accounting information and regulations shape corporate operating decisions, such as promotion and pricing strategies. My work also examines the capital market consequences of disclosure, focusing on how market participants, including retail investors, process and trade on financial information.
I earned a B.B.A. in Management and Finance with High Distinction from the University of Toronto and an M.A. in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University.
